Care Operations Manager

Location: Surrey

Salary: £40,000-£43,000

Schedule: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for keeping care services running. You’ll regularly team up with senior management to ensure everything is top-notch and ready for those all-important inspections. Your insights and leadership will help maintain high standards and compliance in line with CQC.You will be responsible for the daily operations, making sure care hour targets are met and regulations are followed. Your mission? To deliver exceptional service that meets individual needs and aligns with organisational goals.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Holds an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership/Management in Health & Social Care or a similar qualification (like BTEC or Higher Education Certificate) or currently undergoing this qualification

- Has experience in leading and managing within a care setting, including rostering and observations

- Has a track record of career success in social care- Great communication skills

- Is tech-savvy with a good handle on Microsoft Office and other digital tools

- Can craft detailed reports and manage formal processes like disciplinary actions

- Knowledge in CQC regulations, safeguarding, risk assessments, and care plans- Has experience with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Dementia strategies

- Thrives in a multi-disciplinary team environment

- Builds strong relationships with team members, carers, and those we support, all while maintaining professional boundaries

- Follows policies and procedures meticulously

- Shows dignity, respect, and a keen understanding of confidentiality

- Understands the unique needs of unpaid carers

Requirements:-

A full UK driver’s license and a roadworthy car with business insurance

- Willingness to travel around Surrey as needed
