Are you passionate about leading a dedicated team in providing exceptional support which includes mental health within a domiciliary care setting? We are seeking an experienced and motivated CQC Registered Manager to join our dynamic team, serving the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Business Development Manager to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the community, driving quality care and supporting individuals to live independently.

Location: Bristol/South Gloucester

Salary: up to £50k

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the management of all the care visits for Domiciliary and Mental Health Service
  • To build relationships with South Gloucestershire County Council
  • To grow the business with the assistance of the Operations Manager
  • To support appraisal of staff
  • To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations
  • To always act in the best interests of the business
  • To have a good knowledge of the area you are managing
  • Understand person centred care and be able to demonstrate treating people as individuals, respecting choices and treating people with kindness
  • Promote independence and encourage appropriate risk taking
  • Ensure nobody is discriminated against or excluded
  • Encourage people to speak up about concerns and act on them
  • Always striving to improve outcomes for people using the service
  • Ensure that appropriate services are provided for those using our service
  • Be open to new opportunities for learning to enhance your skills, knowledge and development

Skills and Qualifications:

  • ​​​​​​​Have NVQ/Diploma Level 5 or be willing to undertake Level 5
  • Will have a positive, "can do" attitude
  • Business Development skills
  • Have a full driving license
  • Have care experience of a management role or similar
  • Be approachable and friendly
  • Be able to use their initiative and work unsupervised
  • Be organised and able to plan and cope in emergency
  • Be able to work under pressure
